Meet the Ponies

I’m Bo, Mr. Bojangles to you, a quarter horse. My humans try to take control, but I prefer to dress myself and style their hair.

I’m Trojan, an OTTB. During my racing career, I won almost $500,000.00!  I am the biggest horse in the barn, but for some reason, all the ponies pick on me and bite me! Little do they know, each time I have a new bite mark, I get extra scratches and carrots from my human! She’s the best! 🙂

They call me Moo. Not sure why. My hobbies include napping, breaking muzzles, and long leisurely trail rides. My belly is a reflection of this life style, which makes my vet very scared for my health! I’m not sure what she’s worried about, I couldn’t be happier!

In a previous life, they called me Colorado. Now my name is Noah and I’m a Morgan Arab cross. Some of the girls say I am the most handsome boy at the barn! I don’t let it go to my head. I’m a quiet, polite gentleman, and I love to help my little humans learn how to ride!

I’m a Haflinger named Nick. I’m an excellent escape artist, mainly because they put me in a pen with no grass and I get bored. They say it’s for my own good, but I disagree. Sometimes I even take Moo out for adventures; they say he eats too much too! This is very hard work, and I really love a nice cold beer at the end of my day!

I’m Patches, the Palomino Paint. I really like snacks and I will do anything for a treat. It’s really easy to get them from the humans –  I hang my head out of the stall all day, and I’m so cute they just can’t help it!

I’m Ellie, a draft cross. My human has decided I should do something called dressage. I give it my best effort, but I much prefer finding a great puddle to roll in and then being escorted to my stall for some pampering, then laying in a nice warm pile of manure while enjoying my daily nap!

I go by Percy, and I have been told I am the cutest pony at every barn I have ever lived in. When you’re cute you get lots of treats. This is a really good thing, because treats are my absolute favorite-est the thing in the whole wide world!.

My name is Lucy and I LOVE to make people laugh! My favorite activity is to throw all the things! Except of course the toys bought for me – where’s the fun in that?

My proper name is Gone for Broke; but they call me Buffalo. I came from a ranch out west, and somehow ended up in a kill pen in New Jersey. I was saved by my very special human and I just adore her! I love my new life and show my gratitude by accepting all the snuggles and treats from my human family!

My name is Splendid Charlie, and I am in fact, quite splendid, if I do say so myself. I am a thoroughbred but I feel speed is over-rated. I never did win a race, but I will certainly give my all to my new human, who gave me a second career and chance at life!

Hey everyone. They call me Reggae Jams because of my unique marking that looks like Africa! RJ for short. My mama’s name is Sam, but she had a non-fur baby and moved to Colorado and I can’t go just yet. So I stayed with my Mim Mim, and I’m living my best life here. I’m working real hard with her to make my mama proud; Mim Mim sends her lots of pictures of me and stories of all my antics.

My name is Tex. I am in charge of three generations of my humans. My friends think it’s great that I get so much attention, but they don’t realize how hard it is to keep three human women in line! I’m constantly exhausted, and then they wonder why my favorite gait is HALT!
